The Thirty-Six

A vishap tore the alphabet from the air. Hayk’s arrow is still flying. You are the arrow. Gather thirty-six letters before the twin peaks, or the language falls into the lake.

On a phone: arrows move, swipe the scene to look, ↟ takes off or lands.
On a computer — WASD to walk. Mouse to look. Space or F to take off. In the air, WASD moves in the viewing direction, Shift boosts, Space lands you again.
In a headset — Left stick moves, right stick turns. A or X takes off and lands. In flight, right stick up/down changes altitude. Release the sticks to stop; triggers do not drive movement.
Memory gates — Five stone portals stand along the valley. Fly through one and the real place appears: Geghard, Sevan, Garni, Tatev, the manuscripts. Each returns ten seconds.

Photographs in the gates: Geghard, Garni and Tatev by Diego Delso, CC BY-SA 4.0. Sevan by Edooart, CC BY-SA 3.0. The manuscript page is from the Walters Art Museum, public domain.
